Hyderabad - Days 2 and 3
Well, the good news - we have a functional idea of what we are going to do for a solution. Thank god for MOSS+Infopath+Reporting Services - that combination is real useful for speeding up certain kinds of mundane detail.
The bad news, is that we have a large team of 10 that we have to keep busy, when we could really do the job with a motivated team of 3. I hate to say it, but I think there is a size of team after which adding people causes you to slow down, rather than speed up. We are working around it, mostly by getting people out of the way in certain cases... but yes, it is not always simple, smooth, sailing, when you are trying to help change the way people do things.
Towmorrow should be more interesting - we should have a project plan for the remaining days in the blitz by lunchtime.
Oh, lastly, the food is hella good here :) Not the easiest on the GI tract, but good nonetheless.
