Walking Among the Giants
One heck of a watershed day today. In our Magenic corporate office in Minneapolis, I got to introduce the eponymous Rocky Lhotka to the equally well known Michael Hugos. The coming together... "Box 1/Strategy" meets the best of "Box 2/Implementation" (look at the boxes on the middle of the page).
There are going to be many fantastic things to come along in the near future from this collaboration - stay tuned! Mr. Hugos and I are going to be taking the "30 day blitz" on the road, so to speak, in the next few months to really promote the idea that yes, you can build useful software in 30 days - and at the same time, make IT fun... and respected... again.
Organizationally, seeing a place that allows so many cool, solution focused people come together and get things done, is the driver behind my "corporate rah-rah" ism lately. If you are asking if I drank the cool-aid - the answer is yes. :)
