About Daniel "Fuzzbone" Sniderman

I received a BA in History with a Cognate in Computer Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign in 1984.  I've been a Senior Consultant with Magenic since 2004.  I'm interested in Team Foundation Server, C#, Windows Development and hate Java-script.

I'm also a Professional Trombonist - I've played at all the major venues in Chicago and appeared on the Oprah Winfrey show (to give Emeril LaGasse a dramatic entrance) in 2003.  While touring Europe with a Jump Blues band in 1998, the drummer gave me the nickname "Fuzzbone" for my wild improvisation style which stuck (hence the name of this blog).

In 2001, I decided to take a hiatus from Software Development, and supported myself exclusively through music.  In 2002 I returned to full-time development work just in time to learn .NET

Dan married social worker Lisa Sniderman in 2004 (the same year he started at Magenic!) and they have a beautiful daughter named Joella who was born in 2006.
