T4 Parameter Passing: Stuff Found on the Web

Bits and pieces of stuff about passing parameters to T4:

• Oleg Sych on Understanding T4: <#@ property #> directive: might be useful, but seems to be aimed at a part of Visual Studio calling T4.  Not sure that we help me.
• Oleg Sych on T4 Template Design: very useful stuff.  My kind of “thinking out loud” post. 
• Oleg Sych on T4 Template Design: Nested Template Class: useful in the sense that it shows how to create “pure” nested templates that can accept parameters but it is not obvious, at least to me, how you get parameters from outside of the template environment into the templates.
• David DeWitter on Entity Framework Stored Procedure Generation: some interesting techniques here but it is aimed at parsing the Entity Framework files.  This is a definite contribution to the final result.
• Damien Guard on LINQ to SQL template for Visual Studio 2008: this one will take some study.  It transforms the LINQ for SQL dbml file into the code for the DataContext. It does look like it is using convention over configuration to find the dbml file.  Not what I want but it still contains a few nuggets of goodness. Also a definite contribution to the final result.
• MSDN Forums on Passing parameters to Templates when programmatically generating code: A strong suggestion that I am going to have to write my own front end “host” to this process.  Hmmmm.
• Madhavrao Pachupate on Built-In T4 Directives: lots of useful general information.  Seems to be missing the Property directive described above.
• Madhavrao Pachupate on Code Generators: lots of useful general information.
• MSDN Library on Creating Custom Text Template Hosts: more study needed.
• Bobbb on Passing custom objects to t4 templates: not what I want but useful miscellaneous bits.
• Jon Stonecash on How to Pass Parameters to the T4 Code Generator: The Beginning: Some guy trying to do the same thing as I am.  Wait!  It is me! (or maybe: It is I!)
• Dave Duckworth on DEVELOPING REUSABLE T4 TEMPLATES: PART 1 – DATABASES: might be useful.
• GarthJ on Transforming DSL Setup T4 templates from the command line: a bit off topic, but possibly a nugget or two.
• Scott Hanselman on T4 (Text Template Transformation Toolkit) Code Generation - Best Kept Visual Studio Secret: a very good starting point for all things T4.

The next question is decide, based upon all of this, what my options are.
